České Radiokomunikace a.s. is a member of the following outstanding professional organizations:

Czech Republic

Association of Public Telecommunications Network Operators

Establishment of optimum conditions for the development of operations of public telecommunication network operators in the Czech Republic is the objective of this organization according to its articles. This Association was established on May 6, 1999 and České Radiokomunikace a.s. belongs among the founding members along with Telefónica O2, Aliatel, Kabel Plus, GTS and Dattel.

Czech Association of Telecommunications

It was established in 1996 as the Czech Association for Data Communication and Information Systems. It is a voluntary independent interest grouping supporting the development and optimum utilization of telecommunication systems and information technologies. České Radiokomunikace a.s. has been a due member since March 1, 2006.

International organizations

ITU International Telecommunication Union– Radio communication section (ITU-R)

ITU is a successor to International Telegraph Union established in 1865. The current name was adopted in 1934 and since 1947 the organization has been a professional organization of the United Nations. Czechoslovak Republic had been a member since 1920 and the Czech Republic has been a member since 1993.

The Union is an international organization through which member-state governments and private sector representatives can coordinate the development of telecommunication networks and services.

The ITU-R section, known until 1992 as Consultative Committee on International Radio (CCIR), as one of the Union’s three sections, represents a platform for common dealing with problems concerning mostly the administration and efficient use of the radio spectrum and satellite systems. České Radiokomunikace a.s. has been a member of this section since 1996 and it has a status of an acknowledged operator (ROA).
