České Radiokomunikace currently provides 98% of the nationwide, regional and local distribution and broadcasting of television and radio signal in the Czech Republic.

České Radiokomunikace provides TV digital terrestrial contribution services for all broadcasters in the Czech Republic; we have successfully ensured TV satellite contribution of news service for all major broadcasters in the Czech Republic. Furthermore we have distributed coverage for the majority of important sporting and cultural events for international broadcasters, both in the Czech Republic and abroad, for example the Champions League. We are also capable of providing mobile transmission both in SD and HD resolution.

Mobile contribution and transmission

On location video and audio transmission to the television studio

• Mobile terrestrial transmission on-line to broadcasting: non-compressed and compressed signal transmission from the location of the event to the television studio via broadcasting vehicles and the backbone network of České Radiokomunikace.

• Mobile satellite transmission (DSNG) on-line to broadcasting: via digital satellite broadcasting vehicle, CZE-012 registration, with uplink 1+1 operation, ND SatCom technology, 2x 400 W output cascade. Providing services via satellite broadcasting vehicle also abroad, Eutelsat, Intelsat, Sirius, AMOS certificates. MPEG2 4:2:2; HD MPEG2; MPEG4 H.264 10bit compression technology. Input/output signals PAL + audio; SD SDI + audio; SD SDI embedded; HD SDI + audio; HD SDI embedded,   

• News transmission (ENG) on-line to broadcasting: short-term transmission of non-compressed and compressed signals from the location of the event to the customer’s studio via broadcasting vehicles and a central access point to the Prague city TV transmitter with 360° sector antennas, diversity reception, extensive agglomeration of Prague, or via digital satellite broadcasting vehicles from any location in the Czech Republic

• Closed circuit transmission: real time camera – big screen transmission, transmission from surgical operations, etc.

• Special transimission: real time transimission (on-line to broadcasting) from sporting event using a helicopter, transimission from moving objects
